Edison Midgett is an award winning filmmaker, visual artist, designer and a Professor in the Department of Art at Appalachian State University where he has taught Digital Imaging, Motion Graphics, Animation, Video and Sound Editing, and Design for both Web and Print since 1988.

“My recent work in video has been geared towards the museum or gallery environment typically involving large scale installations. Although I also work in narrative, MONOLOGUE is my first documentary and also my first feature film.”

“I am currently working on a virtual reality museum installation about Maud Gonne,  an English-born Irish revolutionary, suffragette and actress who was also the muse of the Irish Poet William Butler Yeats.”
